AFC Urgent Care / Family Care is testing for COVID-19. An appointment is required to be tested.
If you have 1 or more symptoms, or have been Exposed to COVID-19 the test and exam are covered.
Patient safety is our top priority. AFC has implemented a number of new protocols and safety measures to keep patients with urgent care needs in a safe environment. Patients with (non-COVID-19) urgent care needs do not need an appointment and are welcome to walk in at any time to see a provider.
Social distancing and staying home helps reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading. To minimize potential exposure, we now offer Telemedicine services using your smartphone or tablet.
Telemedicine services are available during our normal business hours, weekdays (Monday through Friday) 8 am to 8 pm and Weekends (Saturday/Sunday) 8 am to 5 pm.

You never need an appointment at our AFC Urgent Care of Gastonia, NC location and a doctor is always on-site. Most patients are seen in under an hour.
X-Ray On Site
Each of our AFC Urgent Care clinics are equipped with a modern digital x-ray and licensed x-ray technician. X-rays are taken in a matter of minutes. Breaks, Sprains, Bronchial, Stomach ailments come to AFC and skip the ER wait.
Labs On Site
AFC Urgent Care offers a wide variety of lab work available to patients. The majority of our labs results come back within minutes and we can provide treatment same day.
In every AFC Urgent Care there is a designated Operating room to handle basic stitches/sutures, glue or staples and provide patients with needed IV treatments.
